Patient Care Technician CCHT at Executive Talent Management Consulting

We are looking for a qualified patient care technician to assist patients with their basic daily needs and cooperate with their medical health team to provide excellent medical care. (For a Nursing home)CCHT (Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician) is required.Responsibilities:Responsible for assisting patients with activities of daily living including bathing grooming dressing and feeding.CTs are responsible for monitoring patients vital signsResponsible for administering medications to patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse or physician.Responsible for assisting patients with transfers and mobility including using patient lifts and transferring patients to and from wheelchairs.Responsible for communicating with patients and their families providing emotional support and answering questions or concerns they may have.Reporting any changes in patients conditions to a registered nurse or physician.Assisting with the educating of patients relatives regarding the required care.Assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment.Provides safe effective delivery of age specific patient care in compliance with standards outlined in the facility procedure manual as well as regulations set forth by the company state and federal agencies.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS1. High school diploma or equivalent.2. Education in physical sciences and/or training in laboratory techniques preferred.3. Minimum of 2 years dialysis experience preferred.4. Reprocessing experience including equipment repair and maintenance desirable.5. Successful completion of training course in theory and practice of hemodialysis; or statelicense or registration as required.6. Valid drivers license and insurance if travel by car needed for company business.7. Computer knowledge desirable.8.
