As the Floater/School Age Assistant Teacher, you will be responsible for selecting age-appropriate programs, activities, and curricula for the children in our care. You will also support the current staff, manage scheduling and office supplies, bring positive communication to the team, and implement new strategies to grow and expand our outreach.ResponsibilitiesAdhere to ODJFS Child Care licensing rulesDevelop lesson plansInteract with children to support effective learning and socializationConsistent Communication with parentsParticipation in staff and training meetingsMaintain clean and tidy classroom environmentAssist to design an appropriate classroom arrangement in support of learning and developmental goalsCommitment to continuing educationQualificationsHigh School DiplomaAt least 1 year experience working in a licensed childcare facilityKnowledge of state and federal regulations regarding child careStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProven track record of caring and nurturing children in a licensed educational environmentBenefits/PerksGreat Work EnvironmentCompetitive CompensationCareer Advancement Opportunities
