Benefits IncludePaid vacation and holidays Medical dental and vision benefits 401(k) planBetter Futures ProgramOnsite CafeteriaCareer development opportunities Essential Duties and Responsibilities To clean and sanitize machinery and floors in a production line settingResponsible for all basic cleaning in and around assigned areaSet up stocks and maintains cleaning equipment and suppliesMonitor and maintain sanitation and organization of assigned areasOperate heavy equipmentStay aware of your surroundings and notify a supervisor if you recognize a hazardPerform other duties as needed or as assignedQualifications High School Diploma or equivalent certificationAbility to speak read and write EnglishGood verbal and written communication skillsBilingual (Spanish) preferred Must be well-organized with good attention to detailDisplay strong work ethic and positive attitudeAdaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work cooperation with othersMust maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearanceAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions and to deal with problems involving a few different variables. Strong desire to work hands-on work environmentGood attendance and safety recordsMust be 18 years of age or olderWork Environment Must be able to work in a cold damp environmentProduction and maintenance settingsExposure to various chemicals machinery and knivesVery active position requiring standing walking bending kneeling stooping crouching and crawling. Must be able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.Must be able to frequently and regularly use wrists hands and or fingers.Acute close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds throughout the day with a partner.Must be able to work for long hours in a no-kill food processing environment where it is wet damp and cold.
