Job Description

Reserve Cut is looking to hire passionate hospitality leaders to join our midtown location!The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the daily operations of customer-facing services, while ensuring high-quality guest experiences. The Restaurant Manager will partner with the General Manager and VP of Operations to set, meet, and exceed the business goals by ensuring the mission, vision, and core values of Reserve Cut are upheld. The ideal Restaurant Manager will have strong leadership skills, a friendly yet competitive spirit, and a strong passion for creating lasting experiences through food & beverage.Salary Range $80,000 - $90,000 Essential Requirements & ResponsibilitiesDay to Day: Promote and embody the core values of Reserve Cut, including maintaining exceptional knowledge of the food & beverage we serve and hospitalityPartner with the General Manager to ensure team members are held accountable for following all steps of service, abiding by the policies and procedures set forth, and provide exceptional customer serviceEngage in steps of service as a manager by greeting guests, check handling, table touches, and goodbyesEnsure all VIP guests are acknowledged and contentRespond to customer complaints and reviews in person or online and inform the General Manager and VP of OperationsLead the team into a successful lunch and/or dinner serviceCommunicate any issues or 86 items between FOH and kitchen team during serviceDevelop and retain positive customer relationships, welcoming them back and/or addressing any needs or concerns they may have Operational Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations including time keeping, payroll, opening/closing duties, creating floor plans, inventory management, and walk throughsThoroughly inspect all areas of the restaurant to ensure standards are maintainedTrain, evaluate, and schedule staff for all departmentsRespond to guest inquiries and coordinate special arrangementsEnforce established guidelines and policies of the CompanyImplement and communicate new menus and promotions such as holiday and special event promotionsRespond to guest questions. Provide guest assistance, direction, and information as requested when working in public areasProvide guidance and support for all F&B staffAttend all meetings and trainings assignedCommunicate all guest information/changes to existing information to appropriate departmentsMaintain Resy accounts and update guest notes on their F&B preferencesSend thorough and accurate daily reports, covering all areasGreet all guests, colleagues and clients in a professional and friendly mannerHandle all inquiries and reservations for the restaurant in a timely manner in order to maximize salesMotivate and be proactive in encouraging team commitment and spiritEnsure appearance of team members align with Reserve Cut’s grooming standardsBuild morale and team spirit by fostering a positive work environmentEffectively monitor, coach, and encourage the team providing guidance when needed Qualifications:2+ years of experience in a luxury environment, NYC experience preferredAbility to read, write, and follow directions in EnglishExcellent organization and communication skillsOpen availabilityPositive, engaging, and energetic personalityVery high attention to detail and extensive service knowledgeMust have good knowledge of food preparation, wine, and spiritsSensitive to cultural nuancesAble to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, fast paced environmentExcellent people skills and the ability to work under pressureAbility to maintain a clean and professional appearance as per company policiesAbility to stand for extended periods of timeMulti-lingual is a plusTIPS, Food Handler's Certification  Reserve Cut  is an equal opportunity employer.
