Floor Tech Cleaner at ABM

Description The Floor Technician performs floor cleaning duties in designated areas that will include stripping waxing buffing floors for one of our locations in Little Rock AR. Pay Rate: $16.50 - $17/hr Shift: 5pm to 12am Mon-Fri MUST HAVE 6 MONTHS OF FLOOR TECH EXPERIENCEResponsibilitiesCleaning offices hallways common areas and other areas.Moving furniture before and after cleaning.Cleaning dusting mopping stripping and waxing floors.Measuring chemicals correctly.Operating chemical dispensing units.Labeling chemicals correctly.Cleaning maintaining and storing equipment and PPE proficiently.Keeping an inventory of floor areas and scheduling cleaning and maintenance duties.Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.Assisting with the hazardous waste collection as requested by the supervisor.Other duties as assignedCleans building floors by sweeping mopping scrubbing or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs drapes walls and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specificationsStrips seals finishes and polishes floorsCleans and vacuums carpeted areas including application of spot cleaning treatmentGathers and empties trashMust keep janitors closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working orderRequisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance dutiesMonitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and possibly checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not createdMiscellaneous duties as assignedQualificationsMust be 18 years of age or olderMust have minimum of 6 month related work experience using floor tech equipment running buffers waxing and stripingBenefit Information:ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package.
