DescriptionJob Summary Details: The Floor Technician is responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of all floor surfaces in a facility including hard floors and carpets. This role involves operating floor care equipment performing routine and deep cleaning and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for staff clients and visitors. Pay rate $19.00 per hour The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. For information about ABMs benefits visitABM Employee Benefits Front Line Team Members (Programa de Beneficios de ABM)Basic Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older No experience required and on the job training provided No high school diploma GED or college degree required Preferred Qualifications: Customer service experience 1 year of similar work experience Responsibilities: Sweep mop scrub strip wax and buff hard surface floors using industrial equipment.Vacuum shampoo and extract carpets and rugs.Operate and maintain floor care machines such as buffers burnishers auto scrubbers and extractors.Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and storage areas.Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed.Follow facility policies and procedures including infection control and sanitation standards.
