Great pay/benefits! Room for career growth! Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Food Scientist to join our dynamic team in the Accounting + Finance industry. This unique position combines culinary artistry, food science, and finance to create innovative, healthy, and cost-effective food products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of food science, culinary techniques, and financial principles to drive product development and ensure compliance with various food standards. Responsibilities: 1. Utilize your knowledge of food science, culinary techniques, and nutrition to develop new food products and improve existing ones. 2. Work closely with the finance team to analyze the cost of food products, ensuring they are economically viable. 3. Ensure all food products meet GFCO, Paleo, NGPV, USDA, HACCP, GMP standards. 4. Keep abreast of the latest trends in the food industry, including keto food products. 5. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure food safety and quality. 6. Conduct sensory evaluation tests and shelf-life studies for new and existing products. 7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure successful product launches. 8. Provide technical support to production and quality assurance teams. 9. Develop and implement standard operating procedures and protocols for product development. Qualifications: 1. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Culinary Science, or a related field. A Culinary School certification is highly desirable. 2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. 3. Proficiency in GFCO, Paleo, NGPV, USDA, Culinology, Culinary Science, Food Science, Nutrition, Meat Science, HACCP, food safety, GMP, and keto food products. 4. Strong knowledge of food processing and preservation techniques. 5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 6. Strong knowledge of food laws and regulations. 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 9. Strong project management and organizational skills. 10.
