DescriptionStarting at $12.00 plus tips!JOB SUMMARYThe primary responsibility of the Food Server is to provide prompt courteous service to hotel patrons and ensure the guests receive a pleasurable dining experience.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May include but is not limited to the following)Acknowledge customer immediately with a smileInform guests of any specials and have a full understanding the menu to answer any questionsTake beverage order and serve in a timely mannerEnsure food order is correct before serving to the guestsMonitor tables closely and be attentive to guests needsClear empty plates and glasses from tables and place quickly in bus cartsPrepare sections and side stations making sure tables are cleaned and set properlyPrepare silverware neatly and quickly at table. Clean area when finished preparing.Make sure all areas are clean and free of debrisExemplify our core values family style service our mission and visionExemplify our DEI (diversity equity inclusion) culturePerform other job-related duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIESWork requires 6 months previous food server experienceMust be at least 21 years of ageWork requires effective communication in English both verbal and written form in a professional mannerMust present a neat and professional appearanceWork requires interactions with customers public and co-workersWork requires teamwork with other staff membersHigh School diploma or equivalentPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position)Fast paced high volume environment involving constant publicRequires carrying serving trays weighing up to 15 lbs. and may require lifting bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs.Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smokeGUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL) STANDARDS: Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values service standards and family style service.PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence have excellent communication skills and observation skills and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills.
