Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:Responsibilities:Perform a pre-closing quality control review of delegated Conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA loansReview the data integrity between Encompass, the Automated Underwriting System feedback certificates, and the loan documentationReview file to ensure applicant’s identity, employment, income, assets, and all AUS required conditions are documented in the loan fileEnsure collateral documents are valid and free of repairsPerform a review on each file to verify processing and underwriting adherence to GSE, Agency and compliance requirementsComplete a final compliance check through MaventCore Competencies:Strong eye for detail – commitment to excellenceAbility to work well under pressurePositive Attitude and willingness to help othersSelf-motivated with a strong desire to learnRequirements:Qualifications:Education/Certification-High School degree or equivalent. 4-year college degree preferredRequired Experience:Three years of experience in mortgage loan processing and one or more in a mortgage underwriting position preferredSkills/Abilities:Excellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and with minimal supervisionAbility to multi-taskOrganized and detail-orientedStrong understanding of state and federal mortgage origination compliance regulations (TILA, FCRA, HMDA, AML, etc.)
