This job also requires the individual to perform QC duties. Shift: Wednesday - Saturday8:00 pm to 6:30 amWhat Youll Work OnProcess regulated samples that fall under SAMHSA/DOT regulations and are subject to interviews during NLCP inspection and/or auditsOperation of the GC/MS and/or LC-MS/MS instrumentsPerform initial review of dataPreparation and extraction of samples for GC/MS and LC-MS/MS confirmation as neededOperate lab equipment necessary to perform extraction as neededPrepare validation samples for new controls calibrators and reagentsDocumentation of QC validation resultsStorage of supplies and disposal of empty boxes as neededAdhere to all security procedures for ensuring confidentiality of donor informationMust comply with company policiesRequired QualificationsBS degree in science or equivalent related fieldPreferred QualificationsAdvanced ability to understand analytical techniques and proceduresAdvanced ability to understand laboratory instrumentationAbility to understand certification requirements for SAMHSA CAP-FUDT and other regulatory bodiesAdvanced ability to understand the function of a Laboratory Information System (LIS) and other laboratory computer systemsWork EnvironmentClimate-controlled office and testing laboratory environmentMay be potential exposure to toxic or hazardous materialsLearn more about our health and wellness benefits which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives: Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
