Forklift Operator

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient loading and unloading of freight to and from vehicles and containers. You will be responsible for sorting freight according to size and destination, reconciling driver manifests, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the dock area.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Sort freight according to size and destination.
• Read, decode, and decipher freight coding to expedite freight movement and tracing process.
• Reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests.
• Label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight.
• Perform cleanup activities to maintain a safe and clean dock area.
• Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in operating a forklift.
• Experience in material handling and inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as a Forklift Operator or Equipment Operator.
• Ability to accurately count materials.

Work in a clean and modern facility with multiple shift options to suit your lifestyle. Shifts available: 1st - 5:00am- 5:30 pm / 3rd - 5:00pm - 5:30am

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Independence, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
