Forklift Operator and Material Handler

We are seeking a certified Sit Down Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling materials, inspecting and verifying product counts, and ensuring efficient inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit down forklift to load and unload materials.
• Inspect and verify product counts using packing slips.
• Conduct thorough inspections before material shipment.
• Control inventory accurately and efficiently.
• Package and palletize products for shipment.

Essential Skills

• Certification in operating a sit down forklift.
• Experience in production and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to use a tape measure accurately.
• Proficient in general labor and inspection tasks.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including spreadsheets.
• Strong speaking and communication skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Paramount, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
