Forklift Operator I FSL at Takkion Ops Management

We are looking for a hard-working and flexible candidate to join our Team as a Forklift Operator Laborer. Youll get to work with skilled workers and strong field leadership. Our laborers perform a wide range of physical labor tasks in support of the site.Job Responsibilities:Participates in daily safety meeting.Participate in Job Safety AnalysisAssist skilled workers as assigned. This may include responsibilities such as rigging tagline duty spotter duty carrying lumber and materials.Unloads materials that are delivered such as boxes pallets lumber posts bags of cement and other consumables and distributes them to appropriate locations as identified by a supervisor project plans or specifications.Assists in preparing layout area where lifting and handling storage and ground clearing operations will take place.Prepares layout area where construction will take place by properly measuring marking or recording openings or distances.Prepares tools and materials for skilled workers.Cleans and prepares specific areas of jobsite as assigned this may include digging trenches; cleaning up debris and trash; or removing hazardous materials.Operates a wide variety of hand and power tools.Directs traffic near in or around work zones.Signals equipment operator to assist with alignment movement or adjustment of machinery equipment or materials.Performs housekeeping of work area and site location.Performs other job-related duties.Requirements:Sufficient written and verbal communication skillsSufficient organizational skills and attention to detailTeam-driven attitudeAbility to work with a diverse team.RequirementsEducation and Experience:High School Diploma preferredAt least one year of related crane and rigging field experience preferred.At least one year of experience working around heavy equipment preferred.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods in potential extreme weather.Must be able to frequently climb up and down a ladder for heights up to 20 feet while possibly carrying loads.Must be able to enter and exit tight areas for purpose of rigging loads.Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment.Must be able to work beyond normal operating hours as determined by business demands.TAKKION is an Equal Opportunity EmployerSalary Description$18-$23/hour Key Skills Load & Unload,Shipping & Receiving,Forklift,Basic Math,Industrial Equipment,Warehouse Experience,Warehouse Distribution Experience,Warehouse Management System,Driving,Reach Truck,Clamp Truck,RF Scanner Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Hourly Salary Salary: 18 - 23
