Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Forming CarpenterJob Type: Full-timeLocation: Baton Rouge, LAPay: $17 - $25 DOESchedule: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PMJob Description:We are seeking a skilled Forming Carpenter to join our team in Baton Rouge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, assembling, and setting forms for concrete placement on various construction projects. Ensures accuracy, stability, and proper alignment of all formwork structures according to project plans and specifications.Key Responsibilities:Construct, install, and align concrete formwork using wood, metal, or prefabricated systems.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.Measure, cut, and assemble materials using hand and power tools.Set formwork for footings, slabs, columns, walls, and other concrete structures.Check forms for proper dimensions and support before concrete placement.Dismantle and clean forms after the concrete has cured.Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe work environment.Work closely with laborers, finishers, and supervisors to meet project schedules.Qualifications:2+ years of experience in concrete forming or related carpentry work.Ability to read construction drawings.Knowledge of concrete placement and finishing techniques.Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various conditions.Basic math and measuring skills.OSHA certification preferred.Strong attention to detail and safety standardsReliable and punctual with a strong work ethicLeadership experience it's a plusReady to join our team?
