AGCEA has an excellent opportunity for a Forming Operator 1 on our Day Shift. Persons in this job role are responsible for preparing, mixing, and testing slurry conditions. This job role is also responsible for assembling/disassembling plaster molds and forms for SiC products according to drawing specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Follows Manufacturing Functional Procedures to form SiC productsCollects, measures, and mixes raw materials according to specified formulas to create a slurry mixtureOperates vacuum mixers and associated systems using control panel buttons, switches, and gaugesMeasures slurry conditions using lab equipment such as a pH meter, viscosity meter, thermometer, graduated cylinder, scale, and infrared drying scaleAssembles and disassembles plaster molds using straps, braces, and torque wrenchesMonitors in-process product to perform specific tasks during the forming, drying, and part removal processes
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a minimum of 6 months - 1 year of related manufacturing experienceAble to follow written and verbal directionAble to utilize hand tools and operate machineryAble to follow safety guidelines and practicesRequires completion of general educationMust be able to lift and carry products weighing up to 50 poundsMust be able to move and adapt to work in a variety of positions i.e., standing, sitting, bending, and moving between work areasMust have good hand/eye coordinationWilling and able to work overtime as necessary to meet deadlines and complete special projectsAbility to work under tight deadlines for completion of projectsOUR PAY and BENEFITS
The selected candidate will be eligible for an hourly rate between $19.50 - $23.95 per hour, depending on candidate experience.
