The ideal candidate will ensure optimal allocation of IT financial resources implement robust cost control measures and provide strategic financial guidance to support IT initiatives that align with business objectives.What youll do Develop and manage comprehensive IT budgets including forecasting allocation and tracking of expenditures across all IT departments Oversee vendor management processes including contract negotiations SLA monitoring and cost optimization strategies for IT service providers Implement financial controls and governance frameworks to ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and regulatory requirementsConduct regular financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities optimize IT spending and maximize return on technology investments Prepare and present detailed financial reports and dashboards for executive leadership highlighting budget variances and financial performance metricsCollaborate with IT leadership to develop financial strategies that support technology roadmaps and digital transformation initiativesLead financial planning for IT capital expenditures and operational expenses ensuring alignment with business prioritiesManage procurement processes for IT assets and services ensuring best value and compliance with organizational policiesDevelop and maintain financial risk management strategies for IT investments and vendor relationshipsRequirements7 years of experience in financial management within IT organizations preferably in the insurance industryStrong understanding of IT financial management principles budgeting methodologies and vendor management practicesProven track record in cost optimization and financial analysis for technology investmentsExperience with financial management systems and IT financial reporting tools AWAC: 56151.1Excellent negotiation skills with demonstrated success in vendor contract managementStrong leadership abilities with experience managing finance teams in complex organizationsAdvanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial management softwareBachelors degree in finance Accounting Business Administration or related field; MBA or CPA preferredKnowledge of insurance industry financial regulations and compliance requirements a plusRequired Skills: A. Proven advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platform B. Previous experience of working with software and application development C. Ability to problem solve high-level software with application issues. D. Experience delivering customer-facing interfaces E. Ability to Project Manage workload and deliverables F. Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills including an ability to communicate with both business effectively and technical teams G. Interpreting end-user needs into Salesforce H. Working hand in hand with client to collect business necessities and identify business procedures I. Solid understanding of and detailed experience with architecture J. Detailed experience writing Visualforce and Apex classes and triggers K. Proficiency in HTML XML Flex JavaScript ASP SQL Java or C SOAP-based web services L. Strong understanding of relational databases M.
