Must be a multi-tasker with good computer skills. Direct calls to appropriate staff members or take messages obtain purchase orders and purchase calls to appropriate staff members or take messages obtain purchase orders and purchase supplies.Data entryComputer Skills required (electronic health record SmartCare)Scheduling appointmentsCollect payments financial information and copies of all insurance cardsMake bank deposits as necessaryFilingPull charts for doctor and nurseCopy information from the clinical recordResponsible for the reconciliation of the lab billing every month.Position requires initiative excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to interact in a professional manner with a variety of staff members consumers family members and community agencies.This position will serve as backup to the Medication Clerk or receptionist as needed. Other clerical duties may be assigned. Work is performed with minimal supervision within established guidelines policies and procedures. Must attend all appropriate meetings.
