The primary duties will be at the front desk, but youll also provide clinical support when needed, especially during high patient volume or staff absences. We're looking for someone organized, patient-focused, and eager to be part of a collaborative team.Key Responsibilities:Front Desk (Primary Role):Greet and check in/out patients with professionalism and warmthAnswer and manage high-volume phone callsOrganize and schedule appointmentsVerify insurance benefits in detailSanning and Importing patient documentsMonitor and respond to incoming emails and faxes.Collect co-pays and assist with billing questionsMaintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standardsClinical (As Needed):Room patientsDocument patient history and chief complaintsAssist with procedures, X-rays, and DME dispensingPrepare and clean treatment rooms and instrumentsEnsure a safe and clean clinical environmentHelp maintain supplies and inventoryRequired Skills & Qualifications:Experience in a medical office setting (front and/or back office)EMR experience (eClinicalWorks preferred)Strong understanding of insurance benefitsExcellent customer service and communication skillsMust be willing to learn and adapt to a fast-paced physicians officeOrganized, detail-oriented, and able to multitaskComfortable working in both clinical and administrative rolesFamiliar with Microsoft 365 and fast, accurate typingAbility to effectively work as a teamUnderstanding of HIPAA and patient privacy standardsOffice hours:Mon - Thur: 8:30 am-12:00 pm, 1:00 pm-5:00 pmFri: 8:30 am-3:00 pmPlease submit a PDF resume with your employment history and two professional references.
