We're looking for a Front Desk Supervisor to support and guide our Medical Reception team while helping ensure the day-to-day operations of the office run efficiently. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll partner closely with the Office Manager and clinical staff, while also staying connected to the front desk.

In this role, you'll balance team leadership with operational support. Day-to-day, you can expect to:
Oversee daily front desk operations and support the Medical Reception team
Train, guide, and serve as a resource for new and existing staff
Manage staff schedules and coordinate with the Office Manager
Ensure clinician schedules are accurate and support patient flow
Monitor performance and provide feedback, coaching, and documentation as needed
Step in to cover front desk responsibilities when needed
Handle patient concerns professionally and support a positive experience
Monitor Phreesia and Athena dashboards, addressing issues as they arise
Assist with prior authorizations when needed
Participate in team and leadership meetings to improve operations
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is both operationally strong and people-focused someone who can lead with confidence while staying approachable and supportive.
High School Diploma or equivalent
7+ years of experience as a Medical Receptionist (pediatrics experience a plus!)
At least 1 year of experience leading or supervising office staff
Strong understanding of medical terminology and billing processes
Experience working with EMR systems (Athena and Phreesia are a plus)
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Flexible schedule to support the needs of the office
The Physical Side of the Job:
You'll be on your feet a lot, moving around and occasionally lifting infants or toddlers.
As with any medical role, you may be exposed to different elements like blood or chemicals.

Compensation Offered:
Hourly - Hourly Plan, 27.00 USD HourlyThe salary/rate provided complies with local regulations and reflects the potential base compensation for this role. Actual salary/rate may vary above or below based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location.
