We are committed to building a best-in-class organization by empowering top talent with the resources autonomy and support needed to deliver results and advance their careers in a high-performance environment.Role OverviewAs a Front Door Waste Technician you manage the Cortland Front Door Program of a multimillion dollar multifamily apartment home.The Rule FollowerClean area around accidental waste spills ensuring adherence to all applicable safety standards and policiesAdhere to required productivity standards for the department to ensure all customers are serviced in a timely and efficient mannerFollow all required safety policies and proceduresReport and take pictures during work shift via a smart phone application; log start and end time of valet service with a mobile appInteract with customers management and others on a daily basis to ensure all customer routes receive service in a timely and professional mannerThe CaretakerMonitor for evidence of unacceptable waste at all timesUnload the truck or trailer into onsite waste containers and safely operate the packing mechanism to activate onsite trash compactors when applicableClean waste from around the compactor or dumpster area and safely clear obstructing debris from the compactor as neededWalk distances and climb flights of stairs for periods of time to deliver valet trash servicesClimb in and out of the cab of the vehicle or walk alongside to load refuse waste and recycling; lift and carry trash and recycling bags and other items weighing up to 50 pounds to the truck or trailer for transportationThe Clean FreakCollect waste bags from apartment home communitiesPlace waste bags into leak-proof hampers or trash cartTransfer waste from hamper/cart into designated vehicle provided by the propertyDispose of all waste bags into the compactor onsiteRemove waste from dog pods common areas poolside and mail kiosks; replace trash bagsCheck surrounding doorstep areas sidewalks and parking lots for loose trash and collect itThe Impact You Can MakeYour community looks perfect.
