From individual households to schools hospitals businesses and government agencies Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.This position provides manufacturing engineering ownership of integrated and tested assemblies for Amazon Leo. You will be supporting the production and testing of satellite assemblies.Key job responsibilities- Troubleshoot production issues in a timely manner- Support and manage daily production operations and eliminate blockers and/or part shortages- Work with cross functional teams to solve production issues- Provide design for manufacturability feedback and drive positive continuous change to hardware - Work with process quality and design engineers to continuously improve manufacturing processesExport Control Requirement:Due to applicable export control laws and regulations candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.A day in the lifeA Manufacturing Engineer in this role will be supporting the technician team by resolving any obstacles and working with responsible engineers to disposition non-conformances. This individual will work closely with engineering teams in specifying and building or procuring tools and line equipment for Leo hardware builds. The base pay for this position ranges from $105600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
