Areas of responsibility include Bell Staff PBX/Guest Services and Shuttle Drivers. The Front Office Manager champions hotel strategies that deliver performance and guest service to meet and exceed the needs and expectations of ownership the Sheraton Brand guests and associates while maximizing financial performance. The salary for this position is $70000 - $80000 based on experience.Education/Experience2 years of leadership experience in a resort or hotelPrevious supervisory experience is requiredHospitality degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experienceWork HoursWill be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needsScheduling includes holidays nights and weekends based on business needsJob RequirementsUnderstand the mission vision and goals of the hotelStrong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft OfficeStrong leadership skills and the ability to apply them in a dynamic environmentEstablish goals and objectives for the departmentWell organized focused and complete all work assignedWork cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a teamBuild morale and promote positive employee engagementFollow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve standards of operationsAbility to read comprehend and write instructions correspondence reports and memosAbility to communicate verbally and electronically with guests management co-workers members and marina tenantsAbility to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusionsMust be able to stand and walk for 8 hours a dayMust be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 50lbs occasionallyEssential Job DutiesManages the day-to-day front office operation ensuring Marriott Brand and Peregrine Hospitality standards are met and exceeded providing a 4 Diamond experience to our guestsAchieves and exceeds departmental goals including performance budget team and guest service goals etc.Manages department controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goalsResolve problems/issues to the satisfaction of involved partiesCollaborates with hotel department leaders to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfactionChampions a 4 Keys to creating guests for life approach to service and provides timely guidance feedback and individual coaching to associates when neededDemonstrates knowledge of job-relevant issues products systems and processesManages the overall maintenance daily upkeep and cleanliness of front office areasVerifies property policies are administered fairly and consistently; disciplinary procedures and documentation are completed according to Standard and Local Operating Procedures (SOPs and LSOPs)Responds promptly and appropriately in accordance with local operating procedures in the event of an emergencyCarries out supervisor responsibilities in accordance with hotel policies and standard operating proceduresFollow all additional duties as assigned by managementAll duties and requirements stated are essential job functions.
