We are looking for enthusiastic, high energy, fun, friendly and outgoing team members who enjoy a challenge to join us on our sausage trucks. It is a restaurant on wheels! Full-time and part time hours available. Our family owned and operated business has over 130 years in the food service industry. General responsibilities – Job overview Provide legendary hospitality Cooking Ensure Food safety, health department guidelines and sanitation are exceeded Maintain the Schmidt’s brand and image Consistent and error-free cash management through Point-of-Sale system entry Restocking and maintaining truck during service Serving guests food and beverage Additional responsibilities as requested by the management team. Qualifications Experience with food and beverage helpfulAbility to take direction and work in a team environment High standards of Cleanliness, hygiene, uniform presentation, and safe Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand and work seven-12-hour shifts Ability to lift 40 pounds to chest height Able to read, write, and have basic math skills Able to move wrists in consistent motions though out the shift Must be able to hear, see and communicate effectively Able to climb a step stool Able to adapt to weather conditions Organized, friendly, upbeat, energetic, positive, and outgoingConsistent and Reliable transportation to truck locations Why work for a Columbus legend?
