JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description

Location: Cub Foods Eden Prairie

Reports to:  Assistant Store Director

Classification: Union663 Classified Assistant

Rate of Pay: $32.33 / hour

Hours: Sunday – Saturday, varied hours

  • Make lasting connections with our customers

  • Fill and rotate cases and displays (maybe some heavy lifting-up to 50lbs) while maintaining appropriate shrink

  • Assist with receiving products and merchandising to keep our shelves full and product fresh

  • Prioritize and establish work lists to maintain a steady amount of work for employees

  • Ensure all grocery employees are following store standards

  • Create and manage weekly work schedules for the entire team

  • Train and develop future Grocery Managers

  • Help maintain a clean and sanitary store

  • Has experience working in a grocery position (2-3 years preferred)

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

    FREQUENT: 15% or more of the work shift or at least ten repetitions per work shift. 

    OCCASIONAL: Approximately less than 15% of the work shift or fewer than 10 repetitions per work shift. 

    FREQUENT: 

    Physical 

    lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs., pushing/pulling to 2000 force pounds, equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine), reaching, standing, turning, walking

    Mental 

    judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, math 

    OCCASIONAL: 

    Physical 

    lifting/carrying over 50 lbs., equipment operation (calculator), squatting, stooping/bending 

    FREQUENT: 

    Physical 

    lifting/carrying up to 60 lbs., pushing/pulling to 30 force pounds, equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine), reaching, standing, turning
