Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe 4 Diamond Westin Richmond is searching for a Housekeeping Houseman.Full Time, Monday- Sunday Availability.The ideal candidate will have a pro-active "can do" attitude and provide exceptional distinctive premium service to our guests. If you enjoy working in an elegant atmosphere, fast-paced environment as well as working in a team environment, this is the ideal job for you!Must be able to learn how to operate, load, and unload industrial washers and dryers; must be able to sort linens, be on feet for scheduled hours, be able to lift 75lbs regularly, and perform any other duties requested by management. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSDistribute linen to designated areas in the hotel in accordance with established par levels in each areaMaintain each storage and distribution area in a clean and organized conditionReport any linen shortages or other discrepancies to the appropriate manager or supervisorPerform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standardsPerform other duties as requested, such as cleaning unexpected spills and executing special guest requestsAssist other housekeeping employees in maintaining clean and organized work and public areasSweep and wash floors, vacuum carpet, wash walls, dust furniture and fixtures and clean ashtraysRemove trash from work areas to the loading dock/dumpster and remove trash and linen from cleaning cartsMake up and deliver roll-a-way beds, refrigerators and other guest requestsClean elevator car and tracksAdhere to all Marriott / Musselman standards.Move furniture, supplies, and equipment as needed or requested by managementThe Westin Richmond offers a great work atmosphere and family mentality while offering some of the best benefits in the business.
