Job DescriptionJob DescriptionFull time position, 40 hours per week, $26/hr We are looking for the right person to start training and being an expert in our tradecraft, to ultimately be one of our aquatic managers.The role would be first start off as a Full Time Swim Instructor (WSI) and after 6 months can be evaluated for a management plan. We would provide all training and pay is $26 per hourIn addition to pay, we offer:401KAdditional monthly stipend for HealthcareGym MembershipSwim Lessons for immediate family membersAfter successful evaluation, the management plan will include learning the Customer Service, Sales, HR, Marketing, Staff and Facility Management responsibilities for Aquatics Manager.Job DescriptionThe Aquatics Manager position consists of leading and managing all Aquatic Staff in upholding Aqua-Tots Swim Schools Core Values and brand standards in order to provide customers with consistent, quality swimming lessons that adhere to the Aqua-Tots Curriculum Standards and provide excellent customer service in a safe and welcoming environment.Areas of ResponsibilityThe Aquatics Manager is responsible for providing leadership and management in the following areas of Aquatic Operations:Customer Service and SalesEnsure Aquatic Staff adheres to the Aqua-Tots Core Values during all staff and customer interactionsMaintain a high level of customer engagement and ensure overall customer satisfaction Educate customers in the Aqua-Tots ‘Learn to Swim’ program in order to sell the proper swim lessons to meet their needsAssist General Manager (GM) and Office Manager (OM) in the management of class schedulesTrack and review all In-Water Evaluation conversions and non-conversionsAssist GM in responding to any customer service issues, instructor or curriculum related feedback received via social media, e-mail communication, and in-person issuesFollow up with curriculum or instructor related student dropsManage the progression of all studentsAssist GM to ensure all Aquatic and Front Desk Staff maintain Aqua-Tots quality and consistency through excellent customer serviceEnsure staff meets all sales goals set by the General ManagerHuman ResourcesManage all Aquatic StaffOversee the hiring, training, mentoring, assessing, and scheduling of Aquatic staffManage and document Aquatic staff disciplinary actionMaintain and document Aquatic staff certificationsManage own weekly schedule to accommodate the Aquatic needsAssist GM with managing Aquatic staff schedulesManage attendance and shift coverage for Aquatic staffReview and submit Aquatic staff time sheets to GMStaff ManagementBuild a team environment and promote the Aqua-Tots culture among Aquatic staffEnsure Aquatic staff provides effective parent and child feedback, addresses concerns and provides solutionsManage and meet regularly with underperforming Aquatic staffReview and create action plans from Deck Supervisor reportsManage monthly Aquatic Staff Meetings and In-Service TrainingsManage monthly Master Instructor Meetings and Deck Supervisor MeetingsManage quarterly team building activitiesFacility ManagementMaintain the pool, pump room, and pool environment to ensure adherence to the Aqua-Tots brand standard in safety, cleanliness, and overall appearance  Ensure the safety of staff and customersEnsure completion and submission of incident reports when necessary MarketingAssist GM in implementing grassroots, local, and franchise level marketing campaignsAquatics Manager Certification Requirements (Will Provide Training)Aqua-Tots Water Safety Instructor (AT-WSI) CertificationAqua-Tots Master Water Safety Instructor (AT-MWSI) CertificationCertified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification (preferred)CPR and First Aid CertificationsAqua-Tots Front Desk Staff (AT-FDS) Certificate of CompletionAquatic Manager Position Type/Expected Work Hours/Time AllocationFull time position, 40 hours per weekDays and hours vary based on school’s need and seasonMinimum of 3 Deck Supervision shifts per week Minimum of 2 shifts per week teaching swim lessons Minimum of 2 hours per week meeting time with GM Minimum of 2 hours per week training and conducting instructor assessments - time based on demandMinimum of 1 shift per week in the lobby for parent interactionMinimum of 1 shift per week at the Front DeskMinimum QualificationsHigh School Graduate or GED equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree preferredAt least 18 years of ageValid Driver’s LicenseOpen availabilityAquatic experience preferredCustomer Service experience preferredPreferred QualificationsOperations experience (i.e., oversight of day-to-day operations, staffing, scheduling, goal-setting, financial, and budgetary responsibility)Experience leading a team (i.e., developing, coaching, redirecting, and motivating)Strong hospitality skills (i.e., models effective customer service behaviors;
