As a Fullstack Engineer on our Consumer Engineering team youll build both frontend and backend systems that power seamless engaging experiences for sports fans. Youll have the chance to make meaningful product decisions and deliver features that are seen used and loved by a high volume of fans. Working closely with designers product managers and engineers youll help shape build and iterate on web experiences while strengthening the technical foundation that supports them.What youll do:Build and maintain fan-facing web experiences using React and TypeScriptDesign and implement backend services using TypeScript GraphQL (Apollo) and AWS (Cognito SES Fargate Lambda Aurora Postgres DynamoDB)Collaborate on architectural and technical decisions to ensure scalable reliable systemsTranslate ambiguous product requirements into clear user-friendly solutionsParticipate in code reviews design discussions and knowledge sharingApply product thinking and empathy for fans to balance technical tradeoffs with user experienceHelp define and maintain internal standards patterns and best practicesWhat youll bring:4 years of software engineering experienceStrong experience with React TypeScript on the frontendStrong experience with and TypeScript on the backendFamiliarity with AWS services such as Cognito DynamoDB Postgres and serverless or containerized architecturesStrong problem-solving collaboration and communication skillsExperience incorporating AI tools into development workflowsNice to have (but not required):Experience with Panda CSS or similar CSS frameworksExperience with GraphQL for frontend-backend communicationHands-on product thinking and empathy for end usersExposure to event-driven architecture or distributed systemsAttributes that will make you successful on our teamA strong desire to learn. The compensation package for each level is standard across all engineering roles.
