Fund Administrator III at UMB Bank

The Registered Funds team of UMB works with clients to provide accounting tax audit and administrative services for mutual funds and collective trusts.The Fund Administrator team works both independently and a team-oriented environment to collectively service clients.As the Fund Administrator III you will have a mix of preparation and review work. You will help with reviewing the work of a group of Fund Administrators. Preparation and reviewing responsibilities primarily include financial statements board materials compliance tests and other functions of Fund Administration.How you will spend your time:Coordinate with Lead Administrator and clients external auditor to audit financial statements and provide timely and accurate documentation necessary to complete the auditRespond to client questions and requestsYou will prepare and review of quarterly semiannual annual financial reports and annual registration updates for assigned funds to ensure accuracy and proper disclosurePerform and review of periodic dividend and capital gain distributionsPerform final review of requested board material for client board meetingsYou will handle the preparation of budgeting expense payments and forecasting for clientsYou will handle the preparation of SEC compliance testingMonitor and review clients funds performanceWere excited to talk with you if: You have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or EconomicsYou have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of fund administration or related industry experienceBonus Points if: You have a CPACompensation Range:$56890.00 - $109270.00The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMBs standard for this role but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location experience level and other job-related addition this range does not encompass the full earning potential for this role.
