Job: EVS TechClassification: Non-Exempt/HourlyJob Category: 9 Service WorkersPosition SummaryThe EVS Tech position is responsible for the procedures of cleaning and disinfecting the TRMC facilities to reduce the risk of infection transmission and in accordance with the departmental policies and procedures. Performs a variety of routine cleaning functions as assigned to maintain a sanitary attractive and orderly condition throughout all areas of the hospital. Cooperative work attitude toward and with co-workers management patients visitors physicians and ability to effectively communicate with others.Essential Functions-Assists in maintaining a healthy clean and safe environment for the patient and staff.-Demonstrates knowledge of sterile technique.-Participates in timely and efficient room turnover.-Cleans and disinfects equipment.-Dusts or wet mops floor and vacuums carpets.
