Job Requirements


Experience & Skills


  • Minimum 1 year of experience in game testing and quality assurance

  • Expert knowledge of Xbox Requirements Checklist (XRC), Technical Requirements Checklist (TRC), and/or Nintendo Lotcheck certification requirements

  • Exceptional performance in previous video game testing roles (game testing, QA processes, bug reporting, technical skills)

  • Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and game testing processes

  • Working knowledge and experience using bug tracking software and QA tools

  • Proficient English language skills (minimum B2 level)

  • Ability to meet project deadlines and work under pressure

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

  • Patience and persistence for repetitive testing tasks


Preferred Qualifications


  • Game accessibility testing experience and familiarity with accessibility guidelines

  • Console certification testing experience

  • Mobile game testing experience

  • PC game testing experience


Game Tester Responsibilities


Primary Duties


  • Execute assigned game tests accurately and thoroughly to ensure documented results meet quality standards

  • Report testing results clearly and concisely in bug tracking databases

  • Perform regression testing on assigned issues and validate that problems have been resolved correctly

  • Escalate any issues that prevent or impact test execution to appropriate team members

  • Provide constructive feedback regarding test approaches and test case improvements

  • Conduct compliance testing for various gaming platforms

  • Perform functional testing, compatibility testing, and usability testing

  • Document and track software defects throughout the game development lifecycle
