The Miami, FL Veterans Affairs Medical Center is recruiting ACADEMIC GASTROENTEROLOGISTS. We are an academic, teaching,high complexity medical center, affiliated with the University of Miami.Opportunity to be actively involved in teaching and supervision of fellows, residents, and medical students.You will participate in the care of both inpatients and outpatients and perform & supervise the following procedures: Colonoscopy with biopsy and polypectomy; Upper endoscopy with biopsy, polypectomy, balloon, and savory dilation; Familiarity with variceal banding & Video capsule endoscopy is required.We welcome those with subspecialty interests in Advanced endoscopy, Inflammatory bowel disease, General Gastroenterology or GI motility.Exceptional academic environment and opportunities for clinical and translational research for the right candidate.
