Job Quick Facts: • Ref#: IC-GSTR-0483 • Profession: Physician • Specialty: Gastroenterology • Location: Little Rock, AR • Facility Type: Healthcare Center • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Job Type: Full-time, Contract (1 year) • Start Date: July 1, 2024 • Schedule: Mon-Fri 8a - 4:30p • Call Schedule: 4:30p - 7a; Rotating weeks • Procedures: EGD, Colonoscopy, Endo US, ERCP Requirements: • Full & unrestricted License in any State, or US Territory • BC/BE (ABIM) • Min. of 1 year of exp. in direct patient care • BLS, ACLS • DEA • NPI Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive Gastroenterology care, including clinical services & procedures. • Offer consultative services at the patient's bedside for non-ambulatory patients, & in the clinic for those who can visit the OP facility. • Notify patients of their test results promptly. • Deliver discharge educ & follow-up instructions, coordinating with the next care setting for GI patients. • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities & attend committee meetings as required by the facility's Chief of Service, Chief of Staff, or their designee. • Complete necessary QM/PI documentation for procedures, complications, & outcomes, adhering to patient safety & infection control standards. • Strive to prevent medication errors, falls, & patient injuries during care delivery. • Perform any additional duties as assigned.
