Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Gastroenterology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Lewisburg, PA • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: ASAP - Dec 31, 2025 • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Shift/Call Schedule: TBD • Call Type: Beeper • Call Response Time: 20 mins • Rounding Included: Yes • Support Staff: 2 NP/PAs • Required Procedures: - Upper GI Endoscopy (w/ biopsy, w/ foreign body removal, w/ fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), w/ injection of varices, w/ PEG (percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy) - Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry & Manometry Interpretation - Small Bowel Biopsy, Lower GI Endoscopy - Sigmoidoscopy (Flexible & Rigid) - Colonoscopy (w/ biopsy & excision of polyp) - Liver biopsy and Insertion/mgmt of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube. • EMR: Epic • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: • Active PA License • BC/BE • BLS, ACLS • Fellowship
