Client in Springfield, MA looking for a Gastro MD locum who can do FT or 2 weeks a month starting in December/New Year and can commit to as far out as July 2025. They will wait for a license (we will pay for), move quickly and make an offer right after an interview. Here are some details below: - Start date needed: December/Jan 2025 start date - Schedule: Full Time OR 2 weeks a month. 4 days inpatient doing colonoscopies, and 1 day in clinic. - LOA: 3-6 months (currently approved to July 2025) - Reason for need or vacancy: Turnover/ current locum put in 30 day for a perm opportunity. - EMR system: Cerner and G-Gastro - Credentialing time frames: 90 Days, 120 if non licensed. (we will pay for MA license) - Average # of patients per day: Colonoscopies 12-13 in an 8 hr day 1 day in clinic doing consults - Most Common Cases: Routine Health Screening Colonoscopies - Procedures: Routine Colonoscopies - Inpatient or outpatient setting or mix: Endoscopy Suite attached to a Hospital 4 regional locations - Age Range: 18+ - Call requirements: No Call - Support staff onsite - Board Certification requirements/preferences: Must be BC or True BE - Rate: $3100-$3200/day (some flex) - Travel Covered: Flights, Lodging, Rental or Mileage - Half hour from Hartford, CT Major Airport, or hour and a half from Boston, MA
