This is a combined inpatient + procedural role with beeper call coverage. Assignment Overview Dates Needed: 12/24/25 at 7:00 AM 1/5/26 at 7:00 AMAdditional ongoing dates are anticipated throughout 2026Setting: Inpatient + hospital-based procedures (no clinic)Procedures Required:Upper GI endoscopy (including biopsy, foreign body removal, bleeder fulguration, variceal injection)ERCP PEG placementSmall bowel biopsyFlexible/rigid sigmoidoscopyColonoscopy (including biopsy)PolypectomyDaily Schedule: Mon Fri procedural block 8a 12p (5 10 cases/day) with Inpatient call followingCall Details: Beeper call; 5 phone consults/24 hrs; 30-minute response timePatient Volume: per shiftAdmissions: 2 10/dayEMR: CernerTrauma Level: IIISupport Staff: RN staff; no APP supervision required Requirements Active AZ medical license & DEABoard Certified or Board Eligible in GIACLS & BLS- we can help with Life Support Certification if neededClean backgroundHospital privileges required Temp privileges can be granted within 48 hoursThis is an excellent chance to secure a high-value holiday block at a well-supported GI service, with strong potential for ongoing work throughout 2026.
