Jackson, Michigan, Gastroenterology JobClinical Role:Will consider candidates who are Board Eligible (must become Board Certified within a year). Board Certified in Gastroenterology with 5-8 years of GI work experience (not including residency/fellowship) is preferredPosition includes inpatient, outpatient, rounds, and clinic1:6 call ratio, including some weekendsReason for coverage is growth and one replacement hireAverage number of patients per day: Clinic is covered one day/week with APP support in-house and in the clinicLocally, a team of APP's provide support both in clinic as well as in the hospital Trauma Level IIA hospital-owned endoscopy center and outpatient clinic on the hospital campus allow for easy access to your patients in any locationTeaching opportunities are available through our GME program for those interested in academic involvementDemonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignmentsSuccessfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specializationDemonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issuesITIL and or other industry certification is preferredPMP is preferredProximity to several larger cities adds to the desire for physicians.
