Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob: Entry-Level Field Engineer - GBA BuildersLocation: Lenexa, KSBuild Your Future with GBA BuildersGBA Builders, LLC currently offers construction management services to clients in the Life Sciences Industry. We work closely with our parent company, GBA, Inc. in a design-build relationship to add value to our clients.We are looking for a candidate to assist with design-build projects. A successful candidate will be a team player who is self-motivated and willing to jump in and assist where needed, adding value by offering thoughtful solutions and project efficiencies.What You'll Do:Be a team player on design-build projects – work with architects, engineers, owners, subs, etc.Estimating assistance – quantity takeoff, perform subcontractor pricing reviews / verifications.Assist project superintendent with day to day activities such as drawing coordination, safety reports, daily logs and reports, progress photos, quality assurance and site communication and coordination.Assist with coordination of subcontractors on siteQuality control assistanceAssist with schedule evaluations and updatesAssist with site logistics planning and coordinationInteract with clients and design team as needed to resolve issues and expedite the workAssist with project bidding and buyoutAssist with project budget managementSafety assistance while on job sitesOther duties as assignedWhat You'll Bring:Degree in construction management / construction science.Hands on construction experience / internships is preferredPartnership approach to working with architects and engineersMS Office Suite knowledge and excellent computer skillsProficient in MS ProjectExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to be a team playerSelf-motivation and time management skillsTravel may be requiredWhy You'll Love Working HereAt GBA Builders, you'll be part of a team that values integrity, safety, and innovation.
