Jetson will make it simple, transparent and affordable for everyone to get a heat pump.The Opportunity:We are looking for extremely motivated and passionate Electricians who would like to be a part of an exciting new company looking to fight climate change through disrupting the residential HVAC industry. As our first install team in the New York, we are looking for individuals with deep residential install experience to help us refine processes and procedures. You will be responsible for working as a part of a team to remove gas furnaces, install electric heat pump systems, and collaborate with engineering teams on how the product can be improved and the install process streamlined.What You Will Do:Install required electrical to support heat pump installsCalculate electrical loadsUpgrade main electrical panels as neededRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagramsTroubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairsPerform preventive maintenance on electrical systemsCollaborate with other team members to complete projects efficientlyEnsure compliance with electrical codes and safety standardsTest electrical systems for functionality and efficiencyWhat You Bring:Master electrician license to pull electrical permitsWell versed in newer technologies like SMART panels, splitters, sub-panels, to optimize when faced with main panel or full service upgradesWell versed in modern electrical building codesStrong knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in electrical workAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagramsExcellent problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and ability to work with precisionPhysical stamina to perform manual labor tasksValid driver's licenseJob Type: Full-time Pay: $44 - $52 per hour Benefits:Dental CareExtended Health CareVision CareLife InsuranceEducation Support Free LunchTools ProvidedUniform Provided Work Location: White PlainsDo you feel like you don't have everything that's listed above but can still do the job?
