Job Status: Full-time, Hourly (Onsite)


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is familiar with the terminology of Quality Control. This position requires the application of experience and judgment in selecting procedures to be followed, and searching for interpreting, selecting, or coding items to be entered from a variety of document sources. This position performs quality checks where digitized images are compared to original documents. Position and uses appropriate methods from the selected quality control procedures or makes simple adaptations and interpretations of the SOP. Works from various standardized source documents that have been coded and require little or no selecting, coding or interpreting of data. Problems such as erroneous items and codes, or missing information are resolved at the supervisory level. Work is routine and repetitive. Work is generally performed in a normal office environment where there is minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions. Job assignment requires working at client site where working conditions may vary.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Selects appropriate method from documented Quality Control SOPs and conducts repetitive product reviews. Reports non-compliant findings on a simple spreadsheet.
  • Performs Quality Check of digitized records to ensure image capture is clear, readable, and oriented correctly.
  • Verify image, document and file level metadata is spelled as the original document.
  • Ensures page count is accurate
  • Ensure the back page of the document is scanned
  • Ensure all pages of the passport scanned
  • Ensure that color documents are scanned in color
  • Ensure that all document types are accurately captured
  • Perform paper to image reconciliation of Alien Files
  • Validate process step compliance in source material conversion
  • Reconcile re-scan requests
  • Reconcile other documents as required
  • Assist in periodic formal Quality Audit reviews
  • Assist in the development of QA/QC reports and internal process improvement
  • Experience with document conversion, digitization and records management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KEY REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • U.S. Citizen
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Must be able to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Must pass a government background investigation and obtain a security clearance required for this position.
  • The position requires routinely lifting of boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to and will sit for long periods of time and perform repetitive work involved in sorting, handling, and viewing of documents.
  • Must be able to work independently, perform as a self-starter and meet critical deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Must be able to analyze and document information.
  • The work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required. Work is typically performed in an adequately lighted and climate controlled office.





Compensation details: 21.44-21.44 Hourly Wage
