Mechanical Assembler 1st Shift (Start ASAP)

We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team as Mechanical Assemblers on the 1st Shift. This position involves hands-on work preparing display windows for shipment, completing various assembly tasks, and ensuring the highest level of quality throughout the process. The work is active, allows you to move around, and offers variety in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare display windows for shipment
• Use Windex and other cleaning materials to ensure a polished finish
• Assemble window display units using screw guns, bolts, and fasteners
• Perform light measuring tasks using a tape measure
• Operate cordless drills to fasten screws securely
• Complete minor painting and touch-up work before displays are shipped
• Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed

Essential Skills

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to complete a 36 month contract

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ months of shop experience (wood shop experience or home hobby projects accepted)
• Comfortable working in a shop setting
• Experience with hand and power tools such as:
  • Cordless drills
  • Saws
  • Screwdrivers
  • Nail guns
  • Wrenches
• Familiarity with paint, sanding, assembly work, and general carpentry
• Experience with packaging, power tools, and measuring tools

Work Environment

• Open, well-organized job shop
• Work independently or in teams of 78, depending on the project
• Dress code: t-shirt, jeans, work boots or leather boots
• All necessary PPE provided on Day 1

Shift & Schedule

1st Shift:

• MondayFriday
• 6:00 AM 2:30 PM (potential to work until 4:30 PM)
• Overtime may be required

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, WI.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
