Job Description

Location: Urbana OHJob Title: General Labor 2nd ShiftRittal is a leading global provider of solutions for industrial enclosures power distribution climate control and IT infrastructure as well as software and services. We design and manufacture the worlds leading industrial and IT enclosures racks and accessories including high-efficiency high-density power management and climate control systems for industrial data center outdoor and hybrid applications.Primary Activities/Duties:Assist in assembling components and products using hand tools and power tools.Support warehouse operations including receiving scanning and putting away stock.Pick and bundle customer orders using RF equipment.Load and unload trucks and move materials using pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).Stage materials for production and transport finished goods to designated areas.Perform visual inspections to ensure quality standards are met.Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas in accordance with 6-S and safety standards.Complete required documentation and labeling of parts and products.Participate in cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Ability to stand walk bend twist and reach frequently throughout the shift.Lift 2550 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds above shoulder level.Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing assignments.Ability to read and follow written instructions and diagrams in English.Basic computer skills; ability to learn and use RF scanners and software systems.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Safety Requirements:Wear safety-toed footwearSafety glasses with side shieldsHearing protectionOther PPE as required.Knowledge & Experience:High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.Prior experience in manufacturing assembly or warehouse operations is a plus.Familiarity with hand tools measuring equipment and RF scanning devices.Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Excel and Word.Work Environment:Warehouse and manufacturing areas with exposure to hot and cold temperatures dust and noise.If you require reasonable accommodation for any part of the application or hiring process due to a disability you may contact the companys Human Resources Department at .This option is reserved for individuals who require accommodation due to a disability.Rittal LLC and Eplan are proud to be an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
