JOB DESCRIPTION

Grinder/Shop Parts Specialist

Join our team as a Grinder/Shop Parts Specialist, where you will be responsible for precision measuring, grinding, and fabricating metal parts. This role involves working with various hand tools and machine operations to ensure high-quality production in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate grinding machines and hand tools to process metal parts.
  • Measure materials accurately using tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
  • Perform deburring and general labor tasks as needed.
  • Ensure precision in grinding forged metals and alloys.
  • Engage in metal fabrication and forging activities.
  • Maintain machine operations for smooth production processes.

Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with measurement tools, saw operation, and the ability to read and understand work orders and specifications. The role involves setting up machines, managing the flow of coolant, and ensuring the proper loading of materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Use measurement tools accurately.
  • Understand and implement saw concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Read and comprehend work orders, tolerances, and specifications.
  • Set up machines, blades, stops, or feeding devices, and ensure proper coolant flow against the cutting area.
  • Properly load materials onto saws using forklifts or other moving equipment.
  • Change blades on saws as needed.
  • Clean saws at the end of each shift.
  • Adhere to personal and facility safety procedures and practices.

Job Type & Location: This is a contract to hire position based out of Irwindale, CA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
