General Laborer

Our client, a leading organization in the food production industry, is seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join their team. As a General Laborer, you will be an essential part of the production process supporting various operational tasks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Elk Rapids, MI

Pay Range: $16.20-$18

Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Assist in multiple production areas based on operational needs
• Sort fruit and prepare products for processing
• Operate machinery such as fillers, closing machines, and push cans
• Break down boxes and maintain a clean work environment by sweeping and squeegeeing floors
• Support the production line or labeling lines as needed

What's Needed?

• Reliability and punctuality
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday
• Team player with a willingness to assist others
• Previous experience in a production or labor role is a plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment
