General Maintenance Technician at The Structures Company

JOB TITLE: General Maintenance Technician LOCATION: Greenville SC PAY RATE: $26/hour We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client. Perform manual labor tasks such as pulling carpet removing/installing floor coverings (tile laminate resilient flooring) and general material handling. Conduct basic carpentry work: framing door hanging trim installation and shelving. Complete simple plumbing repairs (faucet replacement drain clearing fixture re-capping). Use hand tools (hammers screwdrivers wrenches) and power tools (drills saws rotary hammers sanders). Perform routine equipment maintenance and periodic facility inspections. Accurately document maintenance activities and completed work. Support renovation projects demolition tasks material transport and site clean-up. Adhere to all safety policies OSHA regulations and site-specific procedures. Consistently use required personal protective equipment (PPE). Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required. 1 2 years experience in facilities maintenance construction or a related trade (preferred). Ability to climb ladders up to 20 ft on a regular basis. Able to lift 50 lbs and perform repetitive lifting or material handling. Capable of working at heights and in confined spaces. Comfortable with frequent standing kneeling crouching climbing and physical labor. Ability to work in environments with dust noise and vibration (PPE provided). Primarily indoor work (office warehouse production areas) with occasional outdoor exposure. Willingness to work shift weekend or night hours as needed for maintenance schedules. Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
