Responsible for contract negotiations and the performance of the Aggregate trucking providers. Ensure product is delivered on time, at the lowest cost possible and at the greatest benefit of the region. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.Ensure the Amrize 5 rules of health and safety are maintained by all carriers, internal and external, and by site visitorsCreate a culture of safety across all road transportation responsibilities that influence the actions and behavior of every stakeholderDevelop and implement ACM Road Transportation strategy with regional trucking groupIdentify and share best practices across regions, assist regions in organizing the necessary processes and sourcing equipment for implementation of best practicesImplement standard ACM carrier contract agreementsLead all region in implementing Avetta prequalification standard for carriers, vendors, and contractorsTrack and account for all reportable initiativesCarrier management; maintain strategic alliances with significant carriers, build carrier capacity for regions and track efficenciesConduct continuous review, validation and modification of strategy, best practices and implementation plans for safety initiatives; maintain flow of information within ACM RoadMaintain awareness of all industry developments via key trade associations, government contacts, journals, seminars,conferencesWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOREducation: Bachelors degree or 8 yrs of experience with a High School degreeRequired Work Experience: 5 years of logistics experienceAdditional Requirements:Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approvedPersonal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
