The RoleThe General Manager is a key leadership position with overall accountability for branch operations in a geographic region. You'll own the full picture- sales performance, installation execution, customer experience, team development, and financial outcomes. This is a high-visibility role for someone who can build and sustain a high-performing sales team, drive operational efficiency, and deliver consistent results. The GM partners closely with Corporate and field teams to execute company strategy and uphold Hansons' standards at every level.

Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team, actively maintaining a talent pipeline to meet and sustain headcount goalsCoach and motivate Sales Executives on strategies, closing techniques, and performance improvementMonitor individual metrics, manage lead assignment, and hold the team accountable to resultsDrive lead generation and ensure maximum market penetration across the branch territoryOperations & Installation
Oversee scheduling of Measure and Service Technicians to keep jobs moving on timeBuild strong relationships with Installation Partners to ensure capacity, quality, and productivityMonitor installations for quality workmanship and coordinate with Corporate Scheduling to maximize efficiencyCustomer Experience
Own the customer journey from sale through installation, resolving escalations and driving five-star outcomesAchieve or exceed Net Promoter Score (NPS) targets through consistent, high-quality serviceTeam Leadership & Development
Lead, coach, and develop branch employees through clear communication, performance management, and accountabilityFoster a culture of continuous improvement, integrity, and shared ownership of resultsServe as the primary liaison between the branch and Corporate teams- Scheduling, Customer Relations, Service, and HRFinancial Performance
Achieve branch revenue and profitability goals; manage collections, labor costs, and reprocessingManage inventory to ensure timely installations and escalate supply issues as neededReview monthly performance scorecards with the Senior Executive Team What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Business or related field5+ years of sales management experience with a demonstrated track record of results2+ years of general management experienceProven ability to recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing sales teamStrong analytical skills; proficient in Excel and MS OfficeExcellent communicator- effective with frontline staff and senior leadership alikeProactive, organized, and energized by a fast-paced, high-growth environmentHonest, ethical, and dependablePreferred: Experience in home improvement or a similar in-home sales industry; background in branch or multi-unit operations
Schedule & LocationFull-time. Standard hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday 8am-12pm, with flexibility for evenings and weekends as the role demands. Some local and statewide travel may be required.
