2nd Shift Production Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an entry-level Production Technician for the 2nd shift from 4pm to 12:30am. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn a trade as you will be trained to perform 'Composite Technician' type work. We are looking for individuals who have experience working with their hands and are eager to train and learn production processes.
Responsibilities
- Train in specific production processes such as tape wrapping, cutting, bonding, lay-up, and bagging.
- Measure and visually inspect products for quality assurance.
- Set up, operate, or tend metal molding, casting, or coremaking machines to mold metal parts or products.
- Smooth and clean inner surfaces of molds using brushes, scrapers, air hoses, or grinding wheels, and fill imperfections with refractory material.
- Mix and measure compounds or weigh premixed compounds as necessary.
- Adjust temperature controls of ovens for precise production.
- Review blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods or sequences.
Essential Skills
- Experience with hand tools.
- Some experience in a mechanical, manufacturing, or construction environment.
- Ability to perform high levels of repetitive work.
- Not afraid to get dirty.
- Mechanical or construction experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntington Beach, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
