General Production Worker

As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and production areas, monitoring product safety and quality, and maintaining accurate records. You will support root-cause investigations and improvement efforts, contributing to the overall efficiency and safety of the production process.

Responsibilities

• Check equipment and production areas before and during operations.
• Monitor product safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production records.
• Support root-cause investigations and improvement initiatives.
• Monitor production parameters and verify compliance through record reviews and direct observation.
• Perform pre-operational and changeover inspections.
• Document issues and corrective actions.
• Conduct SSOP inspections while the plant is operational.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in production and inspection processes.
• Strong focus on safety records and food safety standards.
• Experience in food preparation and handling.
• Ability to work efficiently on a production line.
• Proficiency in packaging techniques.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with problem-solving in a production environment.
• Comfortable with computers and paperwork as processes transition to digital.

Work Environment

This role involves working 12-hour straight shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule, with options for day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The work environment is business casual, providing a comfortable and professional setting for your work.

This is a Permanent position based out of Greenleaf, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
