General Production Worker at Aerotek
JOB DESCRIPTION
Industrial Machine Operator Manufacturing (Night Shift)
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Industrial Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing operation that plays a critical role in the production of tungsten. This is an entry-level opportunity with strong stability for candidates who thrive in physical, hands-on environments and are ready to be part of an essential industrial process.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Operate industrial equipment, including furnaces and dryers, as part of the tungsten manufacturing process
- Load barrels of tungsten powder into dryers to begin the chemical production process
- Move materials throughout the facility, including lifting up to 30 lbs
- Monitor equipment operation and follow production procedures
- Perform general production and machine operation tasks
- Work safely in a fast-paced, industrial environment
Schedule:
- Night shift: 6:30 PM 6:30 AM
- Rotating schedule: 3 days on / 2 days off, then 2 days on / 3 days off
- 12-hour shifts, averaging about 15 working days per month
Work Environment:
- Very physical role with constant movement, stair climbing, and material handling
- Non-climate-controlled facility
- Hot conditions, especially in summer (temperatures can exceed 120F)
- Dirty environment due to black powder production; residue on clothing is expected
What We're Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Solid, dependable work history
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Candidates with backgrounds in mechanical work, construction, chemical plants, roofing, or general labor are encouraged to apply
- Comfortable working long shifts in hot, physically demanding conditions
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow safety procedures

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, AL.
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
