Job Summary and Responsibilities

Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group is in search of a General Surgeon to join our team in Houston, TX. We are looking for an energetic physician to join a well established practice with the potential to expand further.

Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group is a partnership between St. Luke's Health System & Baylor College of Medicine. Position Highlights:

  • Emergency and elective abdominal surgery
  • Hernia repair (open and laparoscopic)
  • Gallbladder surgery
  • Breast surgery (benign and malignant)
  • Endocrine surgery (thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal)
  • Skin and soft tissue excisions
  • Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy (preferred, but not required)

Job Requirements
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
  • Active unrestricted Texas license or ability to obtain prior to employment
  • 1-3 years’ experience preferred, but new grads will also be considered
