General Surgery - Physician at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group - Houston - CommonSpirit Health
Job Description
Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group is in search of a General Surgeon to join our team in Houston, TX. We are looking for an energetic physician to join a well established practice with the potential to expand further.
Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group is a partnership between St. Luke's Health System & Baylor College of Medicine. Position Highlights:
- Emergency and elective abdominal surgery
- Hernia repair (open and laparoscopic)
- Gallbladder surgery
- Breast surgery (benign and malignant)
- Endocrine surgery (thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal)
- Skin and soft tissue excisions
- Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy (preferred, but not required)

Job Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
- Active unrestricted Texas license or ability to obtain prior to employment
- 1-3 years’ experience preferred, but new grads will also be considered

Pay Range
$401,801 - $613,988 /year
Typical mid-level pay: $153k for Podiatrists nationally
Senior roles pay 139% more than entry—experience is well rewarded.
